My son was diagnosed with Amblyopia, and he has to wear glasses and be patched for four hours a day. He does not like to be patched for a second. Stays on as long as I want it too. The adhesive isn't painful when peeling it off, which I thought it would.I came back to this item to re-order, as ! have a cut on the bottom of my foot I'd like to cover and these patches are perfect for such use, as they nearly never come off on their own, and stay put during after showering (and most important, the skin doesn't get wet under the bandage, as there is adhesive around the whole patch. As I walk around barefoot a lot, I've gotten numerous little cuts and slivers over the last year, and have found them to be perfect in keeping the wound sterile. Also worked well on a bad knife cut on my thumb was able to continue washing dishes and undertake 'wet' clean-up jobs without the patch coming off and no water leaking in.Hence, my one star, because I bought them, obviously, to use as an eye-patch but as i peeled it from my eye it was very difficult and very painful to remove. As the skin around our eyes is MUCH more delicate than the souls of our feet, the adhesive was so strong it actually took some skin off under my eye and left a the area around my eye very sore, tender, red, etc.... inflamed skin that remained very sore and that I needed to treat with salve for a number of days.

Purchase for a friend. When comparing prices, this is the only way to go. Even Walmart's cheapest don't compare. They are just plain, however, not pretty like some eye patches.
