Thumper Maxi Pro Variable Power Massager

I have lived with an auto accident caused spinal cord injury for well over a decade and have found massage to be one of the few things to bring relief from chronic muscle pain body wide. I have (when I could still afford it) had professional massages at 60+ an hour, use an iJoy massage chair, and every evening use this Maxipro Thumper for an hour or more while watching TV. It DOES the job,,,,,,, and has been powerful and useful for 5+ years now. It is NOT a vibrator as one reviewer surprisingly suggested and "thump" it DOES. Unlike other handheld units (I owned the Mini Thumper but it quit on me after 1.5 years of this kind of use) the shape and weight of this make it perfect for placing in different positions for different body parts where a leg can lay on it or it can lay on the leg, etc. For the back, it can be propped easily and with some adjustments here and there does an excellent job of relieving deep muscle pains that nothing else works to relieve. The moment this one dies,, I'll order another immediately!

Added comment, The massager "died" last night and as I said, I ordered another immediately and from this Merchant in particular. I had the occasion to speak with the MFG after I took the unit apart to seek the reason for its demise and their top notch service dept. told me a way to keep it running a little longer and provided me a way to repair it when it gives it up permanently. So, this gave me reason to call the Merchant above and see how they handled my request to cancel the order. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful and they deserve this notation. So, one more reason to buy this High Quality (and I've seen the inside) massage unit that may last my life time. I am not one who gives the highest praise easily but I DO for this dynamic duo. I'm a professional masseur and have been using a thumper on my clients for about 10 years. It's different from most massagers in that it has a percussive (thumping) action rather than a rapid back and forth action, so it's effect is deeper and more satisfying. Self thumping is difficult. Nexcare Steri-Strip Skin Closure 1/2 X 4 Inches

Not sure how the other reviewer had his come off in minutes unless maybe applying to a wet surface.

I use this cloth tape when I run. Like many runners, if I don't use something on my chest, after extended running (half marathon or longer) I'll get bloody nipples. If you're a runner, you know about it. If you're laughing, it's not a laughing matter.

In any case, you can go pay a premium for nipguards (Amazon sells them), or you can use a good quality tape like this. I've used the cheap pharmacy brands like CVS and Duane Reade and they stink. They will come off as I work up a sweat, or worse, over time they'll wear a hole right through the tape and then will get the bloody nipples anyhow. One of those others does not come off cleanly the glue sticks to your skin and does not stay on the tape real annoying trying to get the glue off of yourself, especially if your skin is sensitive or broken at the time.

The only tape comparable to this is the J&J brand. I've found the Nexcare just as good and less expensive.

For athletic use, this tape works well.

Also, very important and to avoid potential confusion this is a 2 Pack and each pack includes 2 rolls so you are getting 4 rolls. That's not especially clear. Amazon might do everyone a big favor by showing the picture with two of the two packs so there is no doubt.

Good product...used them often in my job as an RN at a hospital. They really do work when used in conjunction with the benzoin compound to help them stick better.

The product was shipped as promised. Great first aid for any kit for home or away. These will work just like stitches and can get wet and still do the job. They do work much better when used with Benzoin compound which is like a glue to help the strips stick to the skin. It was hard to tell which pepper spray to get. Most people do not test them. Once I got my package of four, I took one out.

First off, thumbs up for the easy to remove package. I didn't have to find a knife. The clam pack was easy to open, and the product came right out.

Now, the ding for the one star. It is way too easy to use the stuff. The instructions say something about removing the actuator. There is no actuator. There is a space between the trigger and the top. That's it. It seems like it would be easy for the trigger to get pushed down. I could see this in a purse, and some keys move around, and push down on the trigger. It makes it easy to access, but safeguards are minimal.

I took the spray out to the garage for a test spray. I stood about 20 feet away and gave it a shot. The spray flew straight, true, and strong. It hit the door with a thick stream. I then went up and took a small sniff.

Holy f***. I was coughing and crying immediately. I was laughing for an houring after because I could still feel the effects.

One of these is going in my car, one in my motorcycle jacket pocket, one next to my bed, and one for my wife. This is a great deal. Everyone should have some pepper spray.

I purchased the 4-pack OC spray to carry in my two vehicles and store near my front and rear house doors. The price is very good for 4 three-ounce containers. The OC is 17% so it is the strongest I have seen. Many listed for sale are less but my experience is that 16-17% is best. I tested each and had no trouble hitting a target 10 feet away. I immediately reacted to the backspray so I'm confident that if I have to use it, it will be a good distraction. It did leave a biege-yellow color on the target, which I did not expect (the last I had was colorless) but does not detract from the effectiveness. Be aware these are fairly large containers (about 5in tall and over 1in in diameter). Package was delivered as advertised. Definately recommend.

I bought five 4-packs so far and will probably buy more because at this price, I can hand out multiple bottles to my family members, friends, and even coworkers and still have extras for anyone I meet or remember later that might need some. I really like this delivery system with the button on top rather than the kind that have a tab that you can set to SAFETY. These are better in my opinion because they have the plastic top that keeps you from accidently setting it off, but the gap between the button and the safety tab is placed so that your finger naturally goes into it, ready to deploy the spray. I like this better because you can grap the with the intention of using either your pointer finger or thumb and the bottle feels secure in your hand. If you have to grab for the bottle in a hurry, you don't have to worry about the SAFETY tab being set.

Out of the five separate times I have ordered this 4-pack, four of them were this bottles pictured in the description. However, this last order came as a four pack of the other type of bottle, with the red tab. I didn't return the items because they are still a good product, just not the delivery system I prefer.

Can #3 Test, Shot about 12' But with alot of miss. (Yes even spraying outside the mist got me, This stuff is strong)

Can #4 Test, Pushed, ran down the side on the can, No spray.

Like I said; 4 cans I got wheren't In any package other then a plastic white bag, Very used look to them, stickers on the cans were worn off in spots. Im sending these back for a refund.

If you get a real New package not used crap like i did, You'll be happy w/ the CO 17% Just a little mist got the right side on my face, blinded 1 eye, took my breath away about 2 mins' & burned about 30mins, I wouldnt want to get hit with a full stream.

I have had an open wound since 2003. This is the best tape I have found. It is soft, but sticks well. It does the least damage to the surrounding skin. It is also perforated so you can tear off 1 or 2 or 3 or more sections to fit the exact size of your wound.

NOTABLE PROBLEMS WITH THE SIRI

When I heard that the Siri was even more powerful than the Hitachi Magic Wand, I was excited to buy it. I was not excited when I received it however, as it has some problems that need to be noted. I found the Siri to be very hard to hold on to. Not only was it very small and hard to keep a grip on, but I kept accidentally hitting it's 4 buttons. They are very sensitive and easy to trigger. Also, you have to be very careful not to get the part that hooks in to the charger wet. That is hard to do with such a small device. I found myself more worried about the toy rather than pleasuring myself. Also, my Siri didn't want to completely charge the first time I charged it. When I plugged it in, the lights stopped blinking after just about 5 minutes (which indicates that the gadget is fully charged) and it was not fully charged. This toy runs out of juice a lot faster than it says it does too. It boasts lasting for 4 hours on a 2 hour charge, but it only lasted about an hour and a half. Actually a little less.

SHOULD I BUY A SIRI?

In my humble opinion, the Hitachi Magic Wand may be very large and not as sexy looking as the Siri, but it is a whole lot more fun to use. I found the Siri to be nothing more than a glorified back massager, that gives you some degree of stronger power that most traditional vibrators, but not as good as the Hitachi. If the Hitachi is too strong for you, I would buy the Siri because it has many more speeds. I would also buy the Siri if you don't like the bulkiness of the Hitachi Magic Wand. I will just say that if I knew what I know now before I bought the Siri, I wouldn't have bought it.

the siri is great.

if you're slightly embarrassed about phallic-shaped pleasure objects then i highly recommend this little guy. cute, discreet and unintimidating (especially if this will be your first time using a vibrator or you're just introducing your partner to one).

i'm not too sure why everyone is saying this thing has no power...not to get too detailed, but i can finish in less than thirty seconds with this guy on the highest setting! siri is not meant to go inside of you (although i'm sure you could try to push him up there), but to massage your clitoris. the only reason why i can think this would be not powerful enough is if you've only ever masturbated with a (strong) vibrator and only climax with one, too. if that sounds like your situation, then i guess you should go for something stronger. but, if you're able to climax by yourself (with your hands) or with your partners hands, or from oral or from just sex itself then i'd highly recommend the siri. :)

i have to say that i have only charged the siri ONCE. it came fully charged. weekly sessions (some 30 mins or longer, some less than a minute) and i still had batteries in early october 2012 (i bought the siri in late may 2012). i had to leave the siri on full blast to deplete it's batteries for 2+ hours because i wanted him to be fully charged for when i visited my boyfriend. the siri charged super fast (i'm not even sure how long i checked back 24 hrs later and it was already done), and didn't die at all when i was on my trip.

i love the multiple settings (i think it has five) and the different strengths of vibrations. for instance, you can leave it on the first setting (which is just a straight buzzzzzzz), and then crank it up to the point that it sounds like an epilator!! so the siri can be quiet, but it can also get some SERIOUS power going. the reason why i love the last setting is because it has all these crazy buzz thingies that go in a pattern it's the one i go to when i want to finish in less than 30 seconds!! :p it has one where it goes "zzzz......zzzzzz.....zzzz....zzzzz" and you can change the strength to make it more or less powerful.

ummm, i love that it has a lock feature so it won't turn on randomly in your purse or if you're traveling. i easily got through the airport with the siri and i love that it came with a cute satin carry pouch to store it in.

not enough good things can be said about the siri. highly recommended. :)

Red Cross Cloth Tape 1 inch x 5 yard

What amazes me the most is how hard it is to find this tape. Walgreens is the only place in this area. It's absolutely perfect. I'm a doc, trust me. You put this stuff on and it stays. I have used Ben's 30% DEET repellent during 7 trips to Africa, including one stay in a bush camp for 6 months. It's the best! I love that it's not oily or sticky and is water based.
