TEGADERM DRESS 4"X4.75" Size: 4

TEGADERM DRESS 4'X4.75' Size: 4This product did a good job of protecting the wound. I would use it in the future for any dressing needs in the family.

The 4x4 Tegaderm makes keeping wounds clean very simple. Three days is average for stay on time, even if showered. This size fits most body parts neatly.

I have osteoarthritis and use a pain patch. I also am involved in a water class for people with arthritis and everytime I would go in the water for any length of time my patch would come off. I am allergic to tape and this was just what I needed to keep my patch from falling off in the water. It doesn't leave a mark on me and it keeps the patch secure.

They are the best, and hard to find in drug stores.

First Aid Blood Stopper Compress Multi-Purpose Wound and Trauma Dressing

First Aid Blood Stopper Compress Multi-Purpose Wound and Trauma DressingGreat little dressing, cheap, and my preference for home first aid kits or pre-hospital...but not for backcountry.

For home use nothing beats these. Easy to use, just cram one on a wound, two if it's big, wrap the ends and tie in place. Most first patch dressings are done dirty, just to stop the bleeding. These go right over clothes, go on without tape, go on one handed and will fit anywhere.)

Small size, soft packaging, good dressing and more versatile than a kerlix.

Not for backpacking though

But... unrolling it in the mud, dirt etc it's going to flop all over, little elastic means it's a s-rolled kerlix that needs reinforcement or ACE to pressure it, the lack of a water and snag proof outer cover means every twig and berry in the woods will be stuck to it in minutes.

If your not grizzly Adams and just want a good trauma dressing thats cheaper than and less complicated than a millitary dressing this is for you!

This is a good multipurpose bandage/dressing for a home or office first aid kit, and I know of some fellow EMT's who use it as well. Basically, it comes packaged as a rolled-up fabric material with a 5x9 non-adhering pad attached. The fabric works as either an absorbent dressing, or a bandage depending on what you need. This is nice because it makes it multi-purpose: for a serious bleed you can leave it rolled up and you have a ton of absorbent material; I'd wager that this product would soak up at least as much blood as a roll of standard gauze. This saves you from having to constantly slap on more 4x4 pads as they soak through, which is the traditional way. Alternatively, you can unroll it and you have a 5x9 pad for abrasions or burns, and you can then use the unrolled material to bandage or secure a splint.

For life-threatening bleeds, I'd still prefer that every kit have a CAT tourniquet and a couple packets of a hemostatic (QuickClot, etc). But those products are expensive, and realistically (and unfortunately) most homeowners and companies are not going to spend $100 on a first aid kit that they think they'll never use. This product, at about $2.50 apiece, is still a vast improvement over the "band-aids and aspirin" which you usually find in the typical pre-made kit, and which are downright useless for serious trauma.

All in all, it's a very good product which can potentially replace several others in a trauma bag or first aid kit.

These kits will take care of many bleeding emergencies, but one thing you need to know is that there is no coagulants on the bandage itself. It is a trauma bandage, no doubt about it, but there's no blood clotting agents or anything on it. It will can save a life no doubts, so long as you know what your doing.

In case of emergency or accident is likely to find victims with severe bleeding or open wounds, which can lead to rapid blood loss, the first minutes can make a difference while professional help arrives. Therefore this product can help you prevent further tragedy occurs.

It is indicated to help control or reduce the bleeding, cover the wound while applying pressure or once the bleeding has been stabilized.

It comes very well packed, sterility and hygiene are visible and easy to check.

The dressing comes with straps on the back, which allow the dressing can be secured and firmly fixed on a specific area (limbs, torso or head), if desired, which is vital in case of multiple wounds or if necessary to help several people at once.

Indespensable product at home or anywhere we can keep it handy and use it when needed. (Which nobody wants)

The price and quality are very good, which makes me feel very confident and happy to have acquired this set of three individual pieces.

In fact I put one of the three parts in addition to my personal first aid kit, which I always carry with me and the other two remaining parts to keep them at home, but given its very useful I will buy more to distribute to my friends and my loved ones, because in my country is not possible to find the product.

I recommend this product again to add it to your first aid or emergency kits.It is a piece that could mean the difference between life or death.

First Aid Kit Industrial 3 Shelf Metal Empty

First Aid Kit Industrial 3 Shelf Metal EmptyWe purchased this empty first aid kit for our production area. The size was perfect, a lot of other empty first aid kits were very small and would not fit all necessary OSHA requirements. The front of it also nicely indicates that a first aid kit is inside. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Evening Primrose Oil: a Fertility Aid for Cervical Mucus

Evening Primrose Oil: a Fertility Aid for Cervical MucusAfter being married for a yr we decided to try to get preg. I read online that you should try especially when you are ovulating. I bought the ovulation test strips but still could not tell when I was ovulating. I read somewhere that Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) helps you achieve quality cervical Mucus and great environment for the sperm. I decided to try this one. (remember to use up to ovulation) This is my first month in using this and I did not have to test to see that I was ovulating. But Just to be on the safe side, I did the test and yes I was ovulating. This product works! Hopefully I get pregnant this month, if not I will definitely continue to try this as well again, because as opposed to the other month when I don't see any Cervical Mucus or not the stuff I was hoping to see (the quality one). This month there was no doubt I even tested the quality. Very stretchy egg whitey stuff that did not break. And I still have more left back for another month. I must admit that it is a challenge drinking four pills a day but if you are determined as I am to have a child it is a small price to pay especially with such great results.

I used this product as directed but starting getting a bloated feeling so i started taking one tab instead of two but that didn't help, so i stopped taking the product.

It even gave me the extra boost when it comes to libido ;) I did however got pg with that cycle but sadly lost at 5 weeks. But I ordered more for when we start trying again. I would recommend it especially if you're like me and have scanty cm and on the low side of a libido.

Elta MD Elta Tar

Elta MD Elta Tar 3.8 oz.In one area I have seen about a 50% reduction in symptoms and another about 30% reduction. It hasn't made them disappear completely but I am pleasantly surprised. It seems as effective as my prescription Taclonex, if not more so, on areas with muscle underneath. Compared to MG217, it seems to be better MG217 seems a little harsher and leaves the patches a bit more red compared to the elta.

Update 8/8.

I have had 99% clearing in one area and 60% in the other. this stuff works! Give it time! Kind of a miracle.

I have used this product for years now for my seborrheic dermatitis (dry scalp condition). This particular product ordered via Amazon, was fresh and shipped pretty quickly. As for the overall product, it really soothes and relieves my scalp issues. Of course, there's no cure for psoriasis, eczema, and seborrheic dermatitis because they are driven by allergies; that is, until you resolve the allergic reactions and/or conditions, you'll always suffer from these types of skin issues. However, it does well with temporarily aiding the issue. Also, it's the best product on the market, besides a corticosteroid, that actually give results without any side effects. I recommend this to anyone who suffers from these types of skin conditions, in addition to a mere case of really dry skin....It helps!

It doesn't cause any skin problem but won't stick as well as Nexcare. I used to be able to buy Nexcare at less then $2 for a 20 count box, but now the price became almost X4! We will back to Nexcare if the price dropped back.

First Aid Only 1" X 3" Plastic Bandage, 250-Count Boxes (Pack of 2)

First Aid Only 1' X 3' Plastic Bandage, 250-Count BoxesWe go through a lot of bandaids... we are a poor non-profit arts program... I needed a good price on a lot of bandaids... that won't fall off in 10 minutes. These fit the bill-lotsa bandages of good quality at a great price.

I started out using band-aids to cover a wart I was removing, not having used band-aids in a long time. The main seller of band-aids now sells, [to my knowledge] only comfort-flex band-aids. And they work very poorly. They stick too aggressively when first put on, and after a day, the tape part comes apart when removing, so I had to pick pieces of sticky band-aid off my foot.

In my search for an alternate I came across this brand and tried both the plastic and the fabric. The fabric came apart somewhat when removing, nothing like the band-aid but not the best results.

Summing up, the plastic First Aid Only Plastic Bandage is the best alternative available today. They are not perfect, but they are so much better than the others, I am giving them five stars. They stick on, but aren't painful to remove. You can buy them in one size, so you don't have to buy a bunch of band-aids of different sizes to get the few that are needed.

Buy First Aid Only 1" X 3" Plastic Bandage, 250-Count Boxes (Pack of 2) Now

I've purchased this product twice from amazon over the years. The first purchase had a more flexible center, stickier glue, longer flap covers, and the bandage used to stick to the container a little to prevent it from dropping to the ground when opening. Once in a great while one will come off while sleeping.

These are still a great value for the amount you get. They still get the job done.

EDIT: I purchased another set of them. They are the old style ones. I was able to test both now. They are definitely much stickier. They are also slightly darker in color. The tabs are also longer. It looks like which one you get is random.

First Aid Only 1-3/4" X 2" Fingertip Fabric Bandage, 40-Count Boxes (Pack of 3)

First Aid Only 1-3/4' X 2' Fingertip Fabric Bandage, 40-Count BoxesThese bandages come unstuck as soon as they get a little damp from hand-washing, rinsing dishes, or whatever. So unless you can keep the bandages completely dry, they're a waste of money. I am very disappointed in the product.

I bought these when I ran out of Zee brand fingertip bandages. Big mistake. Zee bandages are more expensive per unit, but stay firmly stuck even when hands are soaking wet.

I put two fingertips across a tablesaw blade, got seven stitches to hold that back together, and really needed a lot of fingertip bandages until they healed up. These worked really well. As another commenter pointed out, they don't hold up well to being wet, but the glue also washes off easily; the waterproof finger bandages left a lot of goop on my fingertips, and I'd rather just carry an extra bandage for after I wash my hands than have to sit there and pick glue off my fingers at the end of the day. Tradeoff, I guess.

Would buy again. Hope not to ever, ever need this many a second time.

Howard Leight MAX-1 Foam Ear plugs Uncorded NRR33 (50 Pair)

Howard Leight MAX-1 Foam Ear plugs Uncorded NRR33I'm a shooter and I have been using these plugs for five years. I first chose them because of their high noise reduction rating. I found them to be easy to insert, comfortable to wear, and very effective at protecting my ears from my very noisy hobby.

As silly as it sounds when describing a 30¢ item, I don't want to use any other brand / style of plug.

Ear plugs are like clothesif they don't fit they won't do you any good no matter how well they're made. These plugs are made well but don't buy in bulk until you've had a fit test.

I've been using the Leight Max earplugs for several years and they are the best I have found. They are very soft so they are comfortable for transatlantic or even transpacific flights. The bright orange color makes them easy to find if you drop one. The noise reduction rating of 33DB is about as high as you are going to get from a foam earplug, especially earplugs this comfortable. I used to buy them at Eckards (now CVS)drugstore, but they don't carry them anymore. I was very happy to find them on Amazon.

Buy Howard Leight MAX-1 Foam Ear plugs Uncorded NRR33 (50 Pair) Now

With these earplugs, you roll them up, put them in your ear, and after a few seconds they expand again and you can hear all sound going quiet. They may feel weird for a minute or so the first time, but after that it's fine. They work remarkably well. I've used them for sleeping in my dorm, riding on a plane, or for ignoring my roommates and their friends when I need to do homework.

Item came in a zip-lock baggie with exactly 50 (and I counted) individually sealed pairs, with instructions on the individual wrappings.

I bought these plugs because I have several roommates, and they aren't always as courteous with their noise levels as they could be when I am trying to sleep. I also shoot recreationally. I chose these plugs because of their high dB reduction level, and their exceedingly reasonable price.

Let me just say that after using them, I feel like I got a very, very, very good deal. They work exceptionally well. I couldn't hear my roommate talking (normal indoor voice) from 5 feet away. When I am in a different room, the only thing I hear is my breath and pulse. Pretty darn good. Not to mention, these plugs are very comfortable. They don't make my ear itch after prolonged use like most foam plugs do. You really can't go wrong with these.

I bought this bcuz it claimed NRR33, and I got these for motorcycle riding. I have tried at least 4 different types of ear plugs from online and home depot, you name it. This one, by far, block the most. Highly recommend it

AAA 121-Piece Road Trip First Aid Kit

AAA 121-Piece Road Trip First Aid KitWhile you get a lot of product for the price and a convenient bag, I was disappointed that it does not come with an ice pack (they stuck a little sticker on the outside stating that due to shipping, they are unable to include the ice pack and instead added a few more ban-aids). There is a lot of stuff.

I think this is a really great product...The size is really manageable for my tiny Smart Car and I like that the case is hard and tough. I bought this after I had no supplies at a really bad car accident I came up on. I was the first on the scene and couldn't do anything to help. I know a first aid kit isn't THAT much help for a really traumatic car accident but there's quite a few things in this kit that would have been handy at the time. (Gauze, gloves, etc.) All in all I think this product is worth the money and should serve it's buyer well.

I did a First aid presentation for our sports car club, and chose this kit for the prizes we were giving away at the end of the meeting. I did a fair amount of research before purchasing, and felt that this kit had the most requisite number of necessary items of all the kits that I researched (for the $30 price). I like that it contains (among a lot of other items) two pairs of gloves, a 5"x9" combine pad, an instant cold pack, a tweezers, a scissors (although small), some meds, a handle and a soft sided container that lets you add a few items of your own. It's handy that it also has a carabiner on the handle. I added a small bandage scissors, more gauze wraps and an ace elastic wrap to my kit. I ended up ordering another 23 kits for members who also liked the kit.

Read Best Reviews of AAA 121-Piece Road Trip First Aid Kit Here

The AAA 121 kit has the basics that you might need while on the road: scissors , tweezers, vinyl gloves, a whistle but not loud enough to be an emergency whistle, some Q-tips, sting relief pads, antispetic and alcohol wipes, 2 triangular bandages, a 5" x 9" dressing, a mix of bandages, a small collection of sterile gauze pads, and a roll of gauze with tape. It comes in a nice hard shell case that zips up around the edge.

If you're really going to carry it on the road for emergencies, consider supplementing it with a few additional items including: pain killers, a SAM splint, a heavier pair of scissors, a cold pack, and a few trauma dressings.

Overall, it's is a decent low-cost first aid kit that gets you started on having useful emergency supplies in your car. I include it in the Disaster Preparedness Auto Kits that I sell.

Box of 12 3M Medipore Soft Cloth Surgical Tape 2' x 10 yds 3M 2962The tape is soft on the skin. It is not as waterproof as it is advertised to be. I wish it came in a non-perferated form. The perferation come apart on the skin with time, leaving the tape weak.

Love the softness of the tape on your skin. My only problem is that the tape is perforated every 1 1/2 inches making it easy to pull apart during body movement thereby rendering it useless, unless you want to keep reapplying the tape forcing you to use up more ointment and gauze.

Adventure Medical Kits SOL Core Lite

SOL Core Lite Survival Tool with Knife, Light, and Whistle, by Adventure Medical KitsIf you are a person who likes to be prepared for the unexpected this is a knife to have. Light weight, sharp, and incorporated with a light and whistle, if you happen to become lost or have to spend an unexpected night out in the wilderness this knife will become your best friend.

The whistle works well. The blade is a little tough to flip open, however it is very sharp. The light is weak but if you have no other source of light it will help you find your way in the dark. Overall it's a good knife. If you are looking for a rugged survival knife for a week+ backpacking trip this probably isn't the knife you are looking for but it would make for a nice spare.

The locking mechanism of the blade is not reliable.

After opening the blade, I heard the lock click into place, but when I pressed (lightly) with my fingers the blade closedeffectively behaving like a pocket non-locking knife.

The first time it happened I actually cut my index finger. Initially I blamed myself, but after several tests I confirmed that the mechanism fails frequently and is just not reliable.

Too bad.

70% Iso Alcohol Pint - Part #: 81043

70% Iso Alcohol Pint - Part #: 81043We keep a few basic medical supplies around the house such as hydrogen peroxide and isopropyl alcohol. The latter can be used as rubbing alcohol or as a disinfectant for minor scrapes and scratches. It's good to have these things around. They're very inexpensive and have a long shelf life. We purchased them at a nearby neighborhood grocery store. Swan is the only brand they carry. Lately, my wife has been using the isopropyl alcohol for an additional use that surprised me. She's an artist who produces what are known as "newborn dolls." She buys blank vinyl doll parts from sculptors who produce such things and brings them to life by painting them. Believe me, they're extremely realistic. Drop me a note and I'll send you an image of one. She uses isopropyl alcohol as a cleaning agent on the vinyl doll parts. Then she buys colored paints in very small containers and uses small amounts of a paint thinner to dissolve the dye in order to paint the doll. Then she bakes the doll parts in an oven in order to get rid of the the isopropyl alcohol and paint thinner and to dry the paint. Each doll part requires about 6 or 7 paintings and dryings to produce the end result. Fortunately, at least the alcohol and thinner part of the process is very inexpensive.

It's rubbing alcohol. What do you want me to say about it? It works *so* well? Actually, it works just like all the others. I haven't been able to discern any differences between rubbing alcohols ever. I don't drink them ha ha!

Lifeline 29-Piece Ultralight Survival Kit

Lifeline 29-Piece Ultralight Survival KitThis is a small, very light and very portable survival kit. It is definitely a good value for the price, but it's mainly just a good start on well-stocked survival kit. All of the items come out of the container very easily and it is easy to replace them all.

I'll get right down to reviewing each item in this kit:

Waterproof Carry Case This is the plastic bag that the entire kit comes in. It is composed of thick clear plastic and it should be fairly durable in most situations. It will most likely keep your kit dry during the heaviest of rains but I'm not sure if it would stand up well if completely submerged in water.

Waterproof Matches These matches come in a small box with a striker pad on each side. The matches are fairly easy to light, even with the waterproof coating. The problem is that the matches aren't completely coated. Only the phosphorous tips are waterproof, so if your matches are soaked and you can get one to light, it's going to go out as soon as the phosphorous burns away. I would say that these matches should just be called water-resistant instead of waterproof, but I will just replace them with better ones.

Aluminum Foil A fairly large piece of foil which comes tightly folded in the kit. What else can I say? It's just aluminum foil and it can be very useful in some situations.

Emergency Blanket This is a silver Mylar blanket that is about 4'x 6'. If you don't know about Mylar, it is a great insulator. They use it for spacecraft and Astronaut suits to help protect them from radiation and freezing cold. This is useful to have for emergency situations where staying warm is a priority.

50' Fishing Line, 4 Hooks and 4 Sinkers All of these come packaged together in a small bag. The back of the box says that there is 50 feet of fishing line, but I'm not going to unravel it to make sure. The sinkers are very basic, and they don't have lips on the backs of them so they will be difficult to remove from a line once they are attached. The hooks seem good but they are small, so you will be lucky to catch a big fish with them.

8' Snare Wire This is just basic steel wire which can be useful in very many situations. It can also be used to catch small game if you need to. As with the fishing line the box says 8 feet, but it would be a pain to unravel it just to find out exactly how much there is.

Map Compass A simple compass for use with maps. It seems to work, but I've had several compasses that were better than this one.

Emergency Whistle A plastic whistle that comes with a nylon braided cord so you can wear it around your neck. I haven't really tested it yet, but it's a just a plastic whistle so I bet it works fine.

10' Emergency Cord Braided white nylon cord that can be useful in many situations, any type of cord like this is a must in any survival kit.

36" Duct Tape First off, this isn't Duck brand Duct Tape. This is off-brand tape and is certainly somewhat lacking in quality, but it is still Duct Tape and it is still extremely useful for very many reasons. Duct Tape is great to have in any survival kit.

Survival Guide Not much of a guide, really. It is a single piece of paper with printed instructions on both sides, but it does offer some sound advice for survival situations. It would be good to have if you have nothing else.

Reusable Zipper-Lock Bag This is just a plastic bag. A fairly large one, sure, but still just a standard plastic bag.

Surgical Blade A single stainless steel blade which comes sterilized in an aluminum foul package. Recommended for one-time use only, but you should clean it and keep it with you if you have used it already.

Wound Closure Strips Sterilized strips for closing certain wounds. Latex free and useful for deep cuts.

Safety Pins Three Safety Pins. Useful and good to have when you need them, but most people have some anyway.

Also, there is a small piece of paper in the kit with safety information on it. Not useful for anything except possibly starting fires so at least you'll have something to burn in a pinch.

I purchased this kit for a recent backpacking trip. Luckily I didn't need to use it but am glad that I had it. Everything is in that is needed if something should happen.

For the price it is stellar. It isn't the most robust or the nicest quality but thats what you get at this price point. i have it for my camping bag. just in case. and it performs fine for that. a great for bug out bags.

Ardell Gray Magic Color Additive

Ardell Hair Color Bottle, Gray Magic, 0.25 OunceThis is the first time I use this product. I noticed my dye lasted more. I have lots of gray hair, this time, using this product, my gray hair stayed covered longer.

Works okay so long as I use it with maybe a few drops of UnRed. I use maybe 1/4 as many drops of the UnRed.

My haircolor always seemed to 'slip' after a week, so after some research I decided to try grey magic. It seems to help the color stick longer to my stubborn grey hairs. I will repurchase.

Honestly? For all of the hype I read about this product, I had to try it. However, I really did not notice my coolr lasting longer than usual. Sorry. I guess I have truly persistent gray and saw no personal benefit to using this product.

Smilebuddy Kids Oral Care Kit -Toothbrush, Flossers, Timer, Toothpaste, Stickers

Smilebuddy Kids Oral Care Kit -Toothbrush, Flossers, Timer, Toothpaste, StickersNot worth. the box is too large for travel. Toothpaste and brush are too small. Not practical, it's too loud.

Exactly as described. I took one star off because the timer sometimes gets stuck and you have to tap it so that it will continue.

The package itself was pretty good. The flossers were good quality with a fruity taste. Toothpaste was fine. The toothbrush was cute, but my son prefers an electric one.

Antiseptic Wipe Benzalkonium BZK First Aid Wipes 100/Box

Antiseptic Wipe Benzalkonium BZK First Aid Wipes 100/BoxThe Benzalkonium Chloride product I rec'd was a cheap brand made in China, not the PDI that is pictured. You wouldn't put a picture of a well established brand to sell a less reliable brand of soup or a car or anything else. It certainly shouldn't be done for a health product.

Yes, I know that's not what they're made for or advertised for but they really work to take the itch out of gnat and mosquito bites. I have hyper-reactive skin (the bites get really big and itch for days) but one good swipe with this wipe and the itch stops within a half hour and DOES NOT COME BACK. Used it on my grand-daughter when she visited for the summer and it worked on her without causing any skin problems. Try it for the price, what do you have to lose? They're a lot cheaper than the sting-ease products and just as effective.

Not real crazy about having a chemical antiseptic wipe made in China. I've used them and they seem to be OK. No expiration or lot # that I have found though.

I like these towelettes for cleaning around a wounded area and cleaning hands prior to helping a family member bandage a wound. If you have a medical condition that requires cleansing prior to treatment twice a day you can use quite a few towelettes. These appear to be the same ones the nurse uses prior to drawing a blood sample in my doctors office. If it works for them, it should work for me.

The reason I purchase them from Amazon is that I have trouble finding them locally. I could drive 20 miles to a neighboring town and stopping at the surgical pharmacy. They always have them but my local pharmacy is normally out of stock.

These wipes are much more expensive locally, even taking into account the cost of shipping. Very handy to have in the medicine cabinet and first aid kit.
