AAA 85 Piece Commuter First Aid Kit
I purchased this kit for my family at first for the home. Then, because it is small with a hard shell, I decided to put it in the car so we would have access to it any time in any situation. It has all of the items one would expect in a good first-aid kit, and it seems much more durable than any other kits that I've seen or purchased in the past. I would certainly recommend it, and we will probably purchase another one for our other car. This kit has everything you need in case of an emergency. The only things I had to add were an emergency cord and Advil. And the case is great! It is very durable yet flexible enough to handle a few more items shoved inBuy AAA 85 Piece Commuter First Aid Kit Now
This is a great little bundle of good-to-have-in-an-emergency items. There is also room for a small bottle of meds if needed. It fits perfectly under the passenger seat or clips to a bracket in the back cargo area. There were some items I could do without, so I just reorganized it.Read Best Reviews of AAA 85 Piece Commuter First Aid Kit Here

Adventure Medical Kits Hunter Kit
I think this is as complete an aid kit as you could get in this size. The kit is much smaller than I'd expected, about the size of a travel toiletries kit, would probably fit in most glove compartments. It is absolutely stuffed with gear, the only negative I can think of is that there really isn't room to add much more to it and still zip it up. I managed to get a small pocketknife and a minimag flashlight, and will add a whistle and a small reflective blanket soon. The items are well-labelled and definitely seem high quality, the bandage scissors are very small but sharp and solid. The bag itself is a very strong nylon and there is an inner bag, held in place by velcro, designed to take out into the field. The first aid manual is small but covers a lot of ground and seems reasonably well-written. The kit also includes a few instruction cards covering basic first aid that will be useful.
I think the price is a bit high, but you'd be hard pressed to build this kit from scratch for much less and I wanted something actually useful. If I never get my money's worth out of it, I'll count myself lucky. Overall, I think this was the best fit for my needs after searching and comparing everything I could find online. For an individual, it's probably more than you need, but perfect for a family or small group. There seems to be some truth to the belief that left-handed persons are more accident prone than the majority. At least in my case I have always kept reading materials available like Gray's Anatomy and it's cousins in the medical field. It was with some chagrin a while back that I took stock of my resources for medical attention and found band-aids, triple-ointment, and a few other items hoary with age. Doing a little research led me to Adventure Medical Kits, the Hunter Kit. It had a good selection of routine remedies for outdoor activities and around-the-home mishaps, and invited expansion. The most important items I added were several QuikClot packets, Polar Pure water disinfectant, and potassium iodide tablets since I live within twenty miles of two nuclear power stations. The Hunter Kit listed it's intended longetivity as 1-7 days for 1-7 people. It is a compact water-resistant bag stuffed to the max and fits into my Eastpack with plenty of room to spare for other essential components. In all, my medical resources have multiplied at a relativly moderate cost. Included with other ezy instructions is the excellant "A Comprehensive Guide To Wilderness and Travel Medicine" by Dr. Eric A. Weiss, with an overall view of emergency medicine outside urban care. A must item for outdoor enthusiests and homebodies alike. My only eye-opener was that many of the antibiotic ointments, sterile gauze, etc., were made in China. Now China can make high-quality products but I'd like some assurance when it relates to health-field products. So the Adventure Kit Hunter Kit looked nicely equipped and ezy to use. I'll test it out.

I bought this to have in the car and to take with us camping. It's got a lot in it and my husband is very pleased with the range of items included. It's extremely compact and well organized. I thought the price was a bit high but I guess you pay for the excellent organization and compactness. Definitely better than kits we've tried to assempble on our own in the past.Read Best Reviews of Adventure Medical Kits Hunter Kit Here
I'm a fanatic when it comes to first aid kits, so if you aren't really concerned about them having the best items available and as much as can be crammed into them for that time when an item may be really necessary, I suggest that you check out another review. This kit was listed at half price which was a great start, since the carry bag alone is very well done. It contains most of the basic things, including an irrigation syringe, which is uncommon, but I would add several packages of Staphaseptic, which is a great first aid antiseptic gel, 3 prescription medications that I include in all my first aid kits: 6 Azitromycin Tablets 250mg.,30 Amoxicillin 500mg.Tabs, and although I add 20 Lortab 10/500mg tabs, which are strong pain killers and are retricted, you can add whatever your doctor recommends for the same purpose, when you tell him/her that it's for your first aid kit. Keep these in their original prescription bottles and ask the pharmacist to note the expiration date of the larger bottle the meds were taken out of on the label. That way you'll be able to know when the meds are in need of replacing.
I'd add 2 packages of Celox, one 15 gram and 1 35 gram package. These are incredible blood stopping granules you just pour into a wound and it will stop even severe bleeding very quickly. I'd add a package of Celox Trauma Gauze as well, which stops bleeding and works also on burns...a must have, at least for me. Good water purification tablets, a tiny flashlight( so many to choose from;I added a Spiderco Ladybug with ZDP189 blade steel, the best new steel around as far as I'm concerned. I also added a Z pack dressing for severe bleeding control, and finally, I added a tube of Silver Sulfadizine, one of the best prescriptin burn treatments and a tiny bottle of tincture of benzoin, so your wound closeure strips will hold.
Your first aid kit is stuffed, but the zipper will close and you will have a small, portable first aid kit that will be able to handle a great many emergencies, certainly more than when the only had
it's original packaging. I would trust this kit for hiking, camping, home first aid, even backcountry hunting, fishing, exploring. To come up with something a lot better, I have a full backpack 3 level modular unit weighing 60 pounds, that cost more than $1250 to put together. But that's not what we're talking about. Styart with this well laid out Adventure Medical Kit, being sold at a super price, and just add additional items, most of which are sold by Amazon. Be Safe! This kit has a lot in it. It does not have an eye wash, so I added a bottle of saline to it. It is very compact.

Pocket BVM (Bag Valve Mask)
This is a nice bag valve mask, and wonderfully compact. It fits nicely even in a medium sized first aid kit. Great if you're in the field and advanced help is not at hand.2 things to be aware of:
1. It's tricky to get it back in the case. Not an issue if you use it , since you would throw it away, but if you examine it decide if you want more on hand...
2. I am an anesthesiologist and use bag valve masks every day, on real patients. You need training and familiarity to use them properly. Lift the patient's face into the mask, don't just mash the mask down onto their face. If you buy this, my advice would be to seek out some advanced training, if you don't have such already.I'm a paramedic for the past 36 years and go through a lot of gear. As times have changed, rigs have gone from big boxes to vans and space is a premium. I bought two of these so I could save smoe space in the first in bags. I've used one already and it's a great BVM. Add to that the fact that it stores in half the space and it's worth every penny.

The BVM arrived in great condition and on time. Two things the case that it comes in barely contains the BVM the cover keeps popping off. The second thing is with the portability and small size you give up volume that would help the patient with their respiration. Its almost small enough to do pediatrics with instead of adults. the concept it great just case needs to be better and bag volume should be largerRead Best Reviews of Pocket BVM (Bag Valve Mask) Here
I was surprised on how compact it was! It appears to be very sturdy despite all the folding. Very satisfiedWant Pocket BVM (Bag Valve Mask) Discount?
I was dubious, I'll admit. But if you're reading this you know how much space a BVM takes up in a kit.
This is a little bigger than a commercial mask/filter setup, about the size of a pack of 60 dvd's.
It unfolds easily enough, and only takes a few seconds.
Don't know how long it would last but field BVM's are disposable usually.
If you need to fit a BVM into a small bag this is the way to go!
Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Heat Patch - Back And Body 3-count (Pack of 2)
I tried these because of the Tylenol brand and because I had a coupon. It was still a complete waste of money! Doesn't even get warm, doesn't stay on, is hard and uncomfortable. I much prefer Thermacare.I purchased this thinking it would be like an icy hot patch. Its been on for over an hour and its faling off and is just warm, and barely warm at that. I am so mad! I can't believe I wasted $10 on this. Now I have to go buy some icy hot patches. Don't waste your money!Buy Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Heat Patch - Back And Body 3-count (Pack of 2) Now
I tried these Tylenol Back & Body Precise Heat patches back in February for the first time after I threw my lower back out the day before a flight and week-long meetings. I used one the day after I flew to my destination; it was a Sunday so I was just taking it easy. Perfect time to try it out, I thought. Wow, I was shocked at how poorly the patch(es) performed. First, I said "patches" loosely because when you open one up, it's actually two rather thick and awkward patches, not one seamless one. The two are connected via a perforated area making it seem like you can cut them and aim them where you want. But, I needed full lower back heat, so I stuck both on, still connected. Also, these are rather thick and clumpy. The edges are not adhesive, so you get flaps of the cotton paper getting caught in your clothes. Had I any medical tape, I'd have taped it down, particularly because being my lower back, it kept getting caught in my waistbands.
And, the heat is minimal. The packaging says "may take up to 30 minutes" to heat up, but it's impossible to tell.
I gave another a shot today for a sore/stiff neck. I cut one down the perforated space, and put it between my shoulders. It's very awkward and the edges stick out and get caught in my neckline. The heat is hardly there at all. And, I realize today my last issue: these are NOT flexible like the ThermaCare patches. This Tylenol patch keeps pulling off my skin with the slightest of movement.
Rather disappointed in this being from Tylenol. This so called heat patch/pad doesn't even get warm after 3 hours of use. Waste of money! I'll continue using thermacare from now on!

The product does work and does stay on. I love the patch. It isn't suppose to be a burn you hot. It is a deep penetrating heat that I found to last 10-12+ hours. I have horrible back pain and the heat feels good and seems to help. Who wants to walk around with smelly greasiness on them? I sure don't and these patches have no smell. Just a nice warm sensation. They do not get hot like icy hot or even bengay. That's not how they work to my knowledge. They just send a nice warmth to your muscles. You don't feel the heat but if you put your hand on the patch, you do feel the heat. Great product and will continue to buy.Ultralight and Watertight Medical Kit
I picked up the .5 kit, and it has everything I need for a week-long camping trip. The bag is lightweight plastic, so it's not the most durable, but I also like that the entire kit is lightweight for carrying. If you want a better description, go to the manufacturer's website:http://www.adventuremedicalkits.com/product.php?product=238
In terms of size, its about 13cm x 8cm X 3cm thick when the empty top of the bag is folded over. Fits great in a medium size peanut butter jar with a repair kit and a handful of other stuff.

- Specifically designed to hold pills or thousands of other small items
- A rubber O-Ring seal around the cap/top keeps the container secure, airtight and watertight
- Large size with interior dimensions - 1" diameter and 2 1/4" length including the top
- Lightweight yet practically indestructible and made out of heavy-duty brass
- Color black
While I cannot speak for their experience, I can assure anyone contemplating purchasing this pill container that my experience was excellent. This product arrived exactly as pictured and as described: It has a finely machined aluminum body (and, since I have a background in aluminum metallurgy, I feel qualified to say that this seems to be a very high grade of aluminum extrusion); the top and case are carefully threaded and go together smoothly and completely; the O-ring provides an excellent seal; the interior has a smooth, white plastic coating that creates a much cleaner-looking environment for pills or caps you're going to be putting into your mouth at some point; and the inside of the cap has a mirrored finish.
The 1-inch diameter is especially appealing. While a bit bulky for trouser pockets, it is essential if you must carry several pills at once, especially large capsules. Its larger capacity was a great selling point for this item.
I bought my first pill container of this design about 15 years ago from a mail order catalog (think of a herring that weighs a ton). It was made in Germany, was from machined stainless steel, and cost about $25, plus S&H. It had the same depth as the item offered here, but had only a 3/4-inch diameter, so it's capacity was limited. I have since found similar containers in drugstores that were poorly made of an inferior grade aluminum and cost about the same price as the containers offered here. I also have found a plastic version of the original stainless model and prefer it to the stainless because it is lighter in one's pocket and also does not conduct body heat.
The container offered here, because of its plastic lining, also should conduct less body heat, keeping medications that must stay within a certain temperature range to retain their effectiveness safely cool.
If this seller has difficulty with their supplier and occasionally substitutes an inferior item, that is unfortunate. But that definitely was NOT the case with me. I could not be happier with this purchase and recommend it highly.

My husband had a kidney transplant last May and takes 17 different pills 4 times a day. I spent a long time reading reviews and chose this one because of the size. It's absolutely perfect! If you have any kind of condition that requires you to take a large amount of meds at regular intervals, this is the easiest way to make sure you have all meds at all times. This thing is super sturdy and has a screw top, so if you drop it or it gets jostled around your pills are safe and fine inside. We've never had pills break/turn into dust, but then maybe we don't shake our keys around as much as other people.

THIS IS AN UNBELIEBABLY SOLID PILLBOX WHICH I BOUGHT AT A VERY LOW PRICE.($5). THE ONLY COMPLAINTS YOU COULD HAVE ARE THAT IT WON'T FIT COMFORTABLY IN YOUR PANTS OR SHIRT POCKET. IT HAS A KEYCHAIN HOLE TO REMEDY THAT. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU CUSHION YOUR PILLS WITH COTTON SO THEY DON'T RATTLE INSIDE AND TURN DUSTY. Nelson Homeopathic Products Cuts & Scrapes
This a a wonderful, natural medicine that has an advantage over the regular, Calendula Cream (green & white tube); although we use both. The active ingredient for pain is Hypericum (from St John's Wort). Both Nelson's & Hyland's make tablets of it too. 30X potency should suffice and it is useful when you are some place that you just can't apply any cream. The red & white tube of Nelson's homeopathic Cuts & Scrapes cream (with Hypericum & Calendula) works great on taking away that sharp, stinging nerve feeling, while helping a cut or leg ulcer heal quicker. Homeopathy can heal a leg ulcer in 3 weeks...I've done it for myself; although, I'd recommend seeing a classical Homeopath [N.D.] (Naturopathic Doctor) who has the training to find exactly the remedy you need. This product is wonderful. I've used this numerous times and it heals cuts, blemishes and scrapes and prevents them from becoming scars. This is even better than Neosporin!

ARGAN OIL GLOSS & SHINE POLISHER By CREME OF NATURE Hair Polish
I purchased this product in the store. Initially, I bought it for myself because I needed something to help keep that salon shine in my hair. I decided to use it on my five year old's hair and I was overjoyed by how well it helped in not only providing a delicate shine to her hair but how it also eased the detangling process. It is better than Pink Oil because it is not heavy and it is light. A small, dime-sized dab goes a long way. I have been recommending this to my sisters for their children because we all have a history of "knotty" hair. Great for parents who do not want to relax their daughter's hair at such a young age. Creme of Nature has some great products!!I got this because it has the 3 main things I use on my own that makes your hair shine. Dimethicone.. Honey... and Olive oil. All 3 things I bought on their own and use on my hair. Since all of them are mixed in this spray I don't have to put them on one at a time. But as usual, these companies add waaaay too much stuff, hardly ever just the right amount of stuff before they mess the product up.Like a lot of non natural products, and even some that arent, they should've left out the alcohol drying perfume. Not only does it stink (cant stand it), but perfume is just another alcohol, so in the end it'll damage your hair... dry it out. It's just like if you rubbed rubbing alcohol in your hair... same thing. No one with any common sense would want to do that, so I don't know why these companies keep putting alcohol in their stuff that's suppoed to moisturize... shine... whatever. It cancels it out.
The product was okay.. it shined at first but because I'm used to using the exact same products on their own without the drying alcohol perfume, I noticed my hair was actually dryer than when I do it myself without this spray.
Wont buy again unless they take out the stinky perfume
