I took a different product for knee pain--same drugs, but a different name. The other product was discontinued. After a long search I found this. I have had surgeries on both knees and have tried everything from injections to physical therapies. I was looking for a decent dental emergency kit to add to my "disaster bag". First off this particular kit really only had the tooth filling and/or cap temporary glue item in it worth anything. Everything else is kind of already in my first aid kit. I do not know what I was expecting here, after all they do list what is in it in the product details area. It does seem "homemade", what I received did not match the picture on the Amazon picture at all, but the contents did match with what was advertised, so fine I guess. When I opened the plastic zip-lock bag, salt fell out because one of the packets had broke inside (I guess during shipping?). I decided to use a name brand small dental floss container that I had already, instead of the no-name brand one sent in this kit, that was the cheapest floss I have ever used, BTW. Just got this elastic bandage it is not cheap quality at all. I like it very much exactly what I was looking for.Perfect for those who have a true latex allergy (I can't even handle the rubber gripping on most pens). With this wrap I had no rashes or reactions. Only problem is that they are pretty flimsy and will not last for more than two or three wears so make sure you buy the wraps in bundles if you need to wear the wrap on a regular basis.I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine (actually a BiPAP) and there is not a chinstrap that will work to keep my mouth closed. I have tried every brand, make and model with absolutely no success. Generic ace bandages are the most economic and functionally efficient for keeping my mouth closed while using a nasal mask. If you wrap the bandage carefully you will not poke yourself with the clips--it will be the most comfortable chinstrap you ever use! Because of the shape of my face and sleeping positions I cannot use anything but a nasal mask. This is a cheap and extremely efficient solution. I subtracted one star for quality.

The First Years Gumdrop Pacifier Wipes
These wipes are great for travel, however, they are a bit expensive and small. I got them with the intention of using them not only to clean off dropped pacifiers, but small toys, and bottle nipples as well! They are in an easily dispensable package with a great snap-shut cover, but when you pull the top one, 3 or 4 come out, which means you're wasting a few every time you are trying to use just one. They also leave a little bit of a weird taste on the pacifiers/nipples-I didn't think they would, but after I used it for the first time and them gave the pacifier back to my daughter she pulled it right back out of her mouth and made a funny face, so I wiped it down again and then put it in my mouth and sure enough, there's a cleaning product type taste. Now I just use these to wipe down small toys that are in the diaper bag (rattles, etc.).

I bought these for our son's (4 months)pacifiers and small toys. We travel alot and are at A LOT of outdoor events that don't always have a convenient place to wash dropped items off. The wipes are small and will clean a binkie or a small toy but not much else. They do leave a bit of an after taste on the items. The package fits well in the diaper bag and has a great closure on it so that the wipes don't dry out. These wipes have a very strange and unpleasant artificial apple scent that is layered over the strong chemical scent of the wipes. In addition, the wipes left an odd residue on anything I used them to clean. I had to rise the pacifiers and toys with water to remove the strange residue; this defeats the whole purpose of the wipes. It thought this product would be great for my baby who started teething at 3 months, but she ended up dropping it out of her mouth a lot because she opened her mouth so wide to chew on it. Which just led to a lot of me picking this product off the floor. She did seem to like it when it was actually in her mouth though and it fit her gums much better then other teether a since she was so young when she started teething.

I got some steri-strips from my Doctor after my surgical procedure. They've held fast and have helped the wound heal naturally. Used in conjunction with the single stitch, my skin has healed with minimal scarring and tissue damage.
You apply a coat of Compound Benzoin Tincture to the area where the Steri-Strip will stick. Let it dry, or tack up, and then apply the steri strip. It helps it survive water too, but water should still be avoided if possible.
BTW, Steri-Strips do work much better then Butterfly Bandages.

These are much better than butterfly closures. I cut them in half and tear them in half lengthwise for finger cuts (my wife is a nurse, she taught me this). When you adjust the thickness and length, they will work well in difficult locations. They adhere very well over Betadine that has been patted dry. I cut myself recently with a ceramic knife on a fingertip, the strips worked so well the scar line is nearly invisible. I've been stitched up countless times, in my opinion, Steristrips will often give a better result as it is easy to close & stabilize the wound with no puckering of the skin. IMHO, this item should be in every first aid kit, especially built for hiking (right next to the moleskin). I have used them before on Boy Scouts in the wilderness. I'm very happy I purchased this ointment. I have stopped using over the counter ointments and am now using this ointment for all manner of skin injuries and issues. It is quite sticky and does not entirely "disappear" when it dries, but remains a bit tacky, so it is best to always put on a bandaid of some sort over it, ideally a minute after dabbing it on, if your wound allows for that, so that it does get to dry a bit and stick to your wound (if you have a deep or more serious wound, obviously, cover it up right away). Having very sensitive skin, any product I use will almost certainly irritate it in some way. Unlike other first aid creams and gels, though, this ointment is very gentle on the skin, does not sting, and will soothe any redness and irritation immediately, without drying, and will feel like it is protecting your skin and giving it what it needs to heal itself. Purchase a tube to have on hand, and you will find yourself switching from over the counter ointments yourself (this tube is a fair size, so will last quite a bit). Great for wounds that are slow healing. It stops the pain, keeps the open cup site moist and promotes healing! I am so glad I found the product!I suffer from Eczema as well as periodic Diabetic Foot Ulcers, so to say I have skin issues is an understatement. I decided to give this product a try after reading several reviews and I can honestly say, this product helps a lot! I agree with the other uses who have stated that this is a tad messy and difficult to apply because it is sticky, but once you get it onto the wound, the healing seems to occur rather quickly. I suggest using gauze pads and dressings to keep the gel in place. The frequency in which you change your dressing is up to you but you should be fine with changing it every two days if you use Duoderm Wound Dressings or something similar. This tape doesn't stick to skin nor itself. Usually if you run tape around your finger, for example, then lay it back over itself it will stick. Not this stuff. Even with tincture of benzoin (which is a liquid you paint on the skin to enhance the adhesion of any tape) it barely stuck and then only for a much shorter time than desired. 3M Micropore is way better. It seems 3M is now named Nexcare, so the Nexcare paper tape is Micropore if you read the fine print on the back. That's the stuff.The J&J kind I bought was green package but did not say non-irritating. Don't know if there's regular green and special non-irritating green. Grr.
Only one thing to keep in mind: if you have hair at the site of the wound or nearby the tape might be painful to remove. Try to be as gentle as you can when removing this tape under those circumstances.
Overall, this great tape will satisfy you. The adhesive quality will please you, too. This tape makes it possible to secure gauze and other types of bandages so that wounds heal properly. I highly recommend this tape.

I recently had a skin graft taken from my thigh to cover a surgical site on my chest, and from Day-1 (three weeks ago) I continue to replace the gauze at both sites. The tape I was originaly given at the hospital (3M Micropore) has caused a skin irritation possibly due to some sort of allergy. So I gave this tape a try. Although it has caused no irritation to my skin, it has caused another type of irritation which is that it doesn't stick to my skin and the gauze separates from my skin after enduring only minimal activities. This tape might work ok if you are able to wrap it all the way around a leg or arm, or if you are unconcious and are lying completely still, but I am concious and my wounds aren't in locations that allow wraping. I am at a point in my healing that although I don't get up and run laps around the track, this tape will not hold to my skin after enduring my normal day-to-day routine which has only been driving to work and going to the grocery store...nothing very strenuous. As it's name indicates, it is in fact "non-irritating" on the skin, but unless you are bed-ridden, it is not worth moving about having to worry if your bandages are going to fall off. Your advertisement shows a PDI Sting Relief product, but what I received was a Safetec Sting Relief product. I have not had to use the product at this time and therefore can not compare them. If you advertise a particular brand of a product, that's the brand you should ship to your customer.
