Loma Lux Homeopathic Medicine, Eczema, 100 Tablet Bottle

I developed hand eczema in my late 30's and suffered with it for four years. My flare-ups would range from mild to sever almost debilitating. I tried just about every treatment available, prescription, non-prescription, home remedy, you name it. Some would work for a while, like hydrocortisone creams and Protopic, but eventually I would build up a tolerance and they were ineffective. When I first tried Loma Lux I was skeptical, but desperate, within a week I noticed my eczema clearing up, but I didn't get too excited since my eczema is cyclical. Then I ran out of the one bottle I had purchased and sure enough within a week or so, my eczema came back. At that point I purchased more, and have pretty much been using this product steady for the past year and one-half. While on Loma Lux, my eczema ranges from non-existent to mild and never real itchy. Also, I do moisturize my hands throughout the day with a heavy cream. When I do get a flare-up my eczema is very responsive to medications; I just dig out an old tube of Protopic or hydrocortisone and usually within a day or two the flare-up is either gone or under control. Loma Lux has not cured me of eczema, but it keeps it under control and boosts the efficacy of other treatments/medications. Currently I take about half of the recommended dose, but will increase the dose when needed (which is rare). Overall I am very satisfied with this product; if you are desperate, like I was, I would recommend giving it a shot.

Our children have eczema to varying degrees. One has extremely severe eczema all over and the other has it more mildly and more localized.

Both have had all types of treatments, medications, ointments, etc.

This product has had zero effect on both. There was no reduction in the amount or severity of the eczema both aesthetically or rash wise.

I have been taking this product for about a month now. I have to say, my hand eczema (Dyshidrotic Eczema) was almost debilitating at times. The itchy rash/blisters would eventually crack open and bleed just at extending my hands to work. As a nurse, this was a huge problem because I have to wash my hands a lot. This product has been an angel in my life as all other treatments except kenalog injections were useless. I now have very little itching, very rare rash, less than inch at best! My hands no longer crack open and bleed. With this being said, I also use a moisturizing lotion with ceramides in it because my hands are still rough and dry at times. KT Tape Pro 20-strip Roll

I have tried almost everything for my plantar fasciitis. I even got shots in my heels but the pain came back in about a month. My husband thought I should try this so after a particularly grueling trip to the supermarket I gave in and ordered it. Honestly, I thought I would walk with a limp forever.

We actually both bought the tape but he bought the original version. So we had a perfect opportunity to test them both. The pro is hands down the better. The adhesive lasts longer and holds better. Pro lasted about 3 days as opposed to the original that was peeling off the same night we applied it. The pro also doesn't have the cut down the middle which IMO makes for much easier application around the foot.

The fabric it's made of is also different I like the more sporty look of the pro just for design purposes. We got both rolls in black but the pro looks nicer and is almost like athletic spandex.

All in all... Put the extra bucks and be able to stand on my feet when I get out of bed in the morning? I'll take that.

I first purchased the Black colored tape, loved it. Lasted in the pool, lasted at yoga, it was great for what I needed it for. So, I decide to buy another roll and purchased the pink color. I did an app for plantar fasciitis, with no oils, no lotions, nothing on my skin, and after a shower. After I applied it, I was rubbing it down to create heat for stick effectiveness (as shown in the videos ON THEIR WEBSITE), and the ends started to peel off, like limp banana peels! I pressed them down, and they finally held. Then I put on a sock and went to sleep.

I checked it the next morning when I woke up, and it seemed fine. All morning it was fine till I went to my noon yoga class, and as soon as some sweat hit it, it peeled off again. Not to mention that the tape on the foot pad starting peeling back as well. I was so mad! I did the same taping with the black tape and didn't have this issue, but with the pink, every tape I do only lasts a day before it starts peeling off. What a waste of money!! Didn't even last through a shower for a General Elbow tape I did either.

I really don't know if I was to risk out on losing $15 more dollars to try a different color, as I want to use something other than black tape, obviously they make other colors and I would like to use them. I still have over half a roll left of the pink tape, don't even know if I will bother to use it after the blunders with previous apps.

I first got KT tape because I had severe pain in the ball of my foot. I work as a PE teacher so taking a rest and staying off my feet wasn't really an option. This tape caused me an allergic reaction on my skin. I liked the tape but I couldn't wear it for more than an hour after which I started feeling a burning sensation that I had to take it off. the skin underneath the tape looked like as if it was burned. I was sensitive to the adhesive used on this tape. What a shame. I wish they made one for sensitive skin.

OK, you know you shouldn't be working that injured body part, but you're going to do it anyway, so this is YOUR product. Fine online instructional video explaining different strategies for different limbs, shoulders, etc. For me, runner's knee. It provides firm support while I'm exercising without being bulky. I've used the flesh colored, the lime green colored, and the black strips and find that the quality is not consistent between the supposedly identical products, both in terms of firmness of elastic response, level of adhesion, and skin irritation from the adhesive. Of the three, the black is noticeably firmer and longer-lasting, and demonstrates more waterproof-ness (showering, tho I didn't swim). The salesperson at a running shop said she wraps her feet before a race, which sounds like a fantastic idea if my knee recovers enough to allow me to compete again.

I tried these as an alternative to Band-Aid Tough Strips. Tough Strips will stay on for days, yet the adhesive gives way easily with the application of a little vegetable oil; I used Tough Strips on our then-two month old when she got a cut on her hand, and, when the time came, removed the bandage without damaging her delicate skin. I was having trouble finding more Tough Strips, though, and so decided to try these. They appear similar to Tough Strips, and are the same size, but the adhesive is far inferior. I can swim with a Tough Skin bandage on and it'll still be there when I get out. These Extreme Hold bandages, though, slip off the skin at any opportunity. I find myself going through three or so bandages a day with these, whereas a Tough Skin would last as long as four days or more. In comparison to a traditional plastic bandage, these are comparable, and the fabric breathes nicely. The poor adhesive, though, is a huge flaw. I will not use these in the future.

I'm not going to lie, I was VERY unsure about this product but I decided to buy it anyway. I straighten and blow dry my hair everyday. I permed my hair in August 2011 thinking I might go for that look rather than messing with my hair each day, but unfortunately couldn't stand the look, so I reverted back to heat styling. Needless to say, my hair has taken a beating for the past several months. I tried to preserve it, but I just didn't have any luck. When I saw this line on sale at Costco, I took two sets because I had read such good things about it. I washed my hair with the shampoo which felt nice and moisturizing. I followed up with the very thick conditioner, which also seemed like it might be promising. I also tried the leave in included. When my hair dried, I was a bit dismayed....my hair felt like straw. I figured it might change after I flat ironed the next day, but it was still stiff. To make things worse, every time I touched my hair, I got a sticky residue on my hand. It appears that this is how this product works. Another reviewer likened this product to glue. I have to agree. Also, I tried not using the leave in to see if that would help...it didn't. My hair was still sticky.

We all know that no shampoo, conditioner, or leave in is going to get rid of split ends, but rather just reduce the appearance of the split ends. I did not have this luck with most of the Nexxus Pro-Mend Line. I gave it a few days, then returned both sets when I didn't see any visible improvement in my hair to justify the sticky feeling. I will say that I do have some Pro-Mend Heat Protexx heat protectant that I purchased before I bought the rest of this line, and it is great. Nice, light weight, and leaves no sticky residue. I will continue to use that. Just not the shampoo, conditioner, or leave in.

In general, it is best to get a hair cut if your hair is in bad condition, but as in my case, sometimes it just isn't practical. My bangs are badly damaged at the ends due to the perm and the fact that I hit this part of my hair hardest with the flat iron, but I just can't go much shorter. If you are looking for something that reduces the appearance of split ends, you might try Nexxus Polymedic Emergency Reconstructor (Different from Nexxus Emergencee, I like Polymedic Emergency Reconstructor better). I used it just last night and it has done a stellar job at reducing the appearance of split ends in my bangs. Dare I say, a stellar job? I believe it fused most of them together as it appears today that they are more or less gone. I know they are still there, but I can't see them. It is awesome. This is exactly what Pro-Mend was supposed to do, except the Polymedic Emergency Reconstructor doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky.

Plackers Mouth Guard Grind No More Dental Night Protector

I just tried these for the first time last night and I have to say they are wonderful. I have struggled with several other brands out there (dentek custom comfort dental guard, sleep right slim comfort and sleep right secure comfort) but sleeping with giant mouthpieces in your mouth is not comforable. (The sleep right were smaller, but they were too deep and hurt my gums). I got to the point where I would rather just grind my teeth at night than wear them...(not a good option)

This is finally a small, barely there option that allowed me to sleep without feeling like I had 2 lbs of plastic in my mouth. I didn't wake up with my gums hurting either! I am happy to say that I will be able to wear these comfortably at night and will finally be able to save my teeth and gums!!

After using this product for several months, I have found that they have changed my bite. The product was not long enough to cover my back teeth and also not significantly "squishy" enough to protect. So at night I was grinding down hard enough, that my back teeth were still touching and were producing a jaw-not-aligned properly feeling for the next several days after wearing.

Needless to say, I have moved on and am now using DenTek Comfort Fit NightGuard (which are "squishy" and adjustable along with being comfortable worn either on the top teeth or bottom) My bite has now returned to a normal feeling.

The Plackers "Grind-No-More" guard is the best night protection mouth guard that I have tried to date.

First, it is the least bulky and most comfortable. Plackers are super sleek and light. They are a refined and well made product, free of sharp edges or other uncomfortable features. Unlike an athletic style dental guard, it is barely visible and has minimal impact on one's speech. It does take a leap of faith to believe that it will stay put while sleeping, but stay put it does! After a few nights of sleep, I almost forget that I am wearing it.

Second, it is the most simple. The Plackers guard does not require forming or adjusting. It is of the "bite wing" style, but unlike the SleepRight guard, there is nothing to adjust. In fairness to the SleepRight guard, which is my second favorite, the SleepRight does feel more "secure" and more cushioned, if that is important to you.

Third, Plackers do not have hidden crevasses that make cleaning difficult. Compared to the self molded athletic style guards, there are no irregular bite marks to clean. The Plackers guard is also easier to clean than the SleepRight guard. Ironically, the Plackers "disposable" guards are the easiest to clean and keep using!

Fourth, the Plackers guard is nearly tasteless compared to other guards.

I've been using the first guard for two weeks now and I don't see any material signs of wear. At this rate, I won't be surprised if the box of fourteen lasts for years!

I wore one for the first time last night and was sort of impressed at first... Just the fact that it was still in place in the morning was amazing, and I felt happy I'd done something to protect my teeththen I took it out and got worried. I wore it on my upper teeth, because it was snug and seemed solidly in place (when tested on my lower teeth, the retention band dug into the area below my front teeth and was very uncomfortable). I LOVE THIS ITEM! So do my 3 grandkids. I ordered it thru Amazon & had it sent to my daughter & her husband's address. I like sending surpise packages every now & then for the grandkids so they get the fun of getting something in the mail. This was a hit with all three, ages 3, 6 and 8 and cost about $10 total.

I think Hurts don't hurt as bad when a child can choose one of these Batman "Bam" "Pow" "Wham" or "Ouch!" bandages to perfectly describe what they went through. Lots of fun.

Stitches are one thing, Steri-Strips are another...guess what...they work about the same provided the wound is not too deep. No ATC or sports med doc should be without these when working with athletes...if you don't have these, get them...

Didn't hold as well as what we got from the doctor and this was what he told us to get. So wasn't real happy that it didn't work like it was supposed to. Strips would not hold.

We had to go out and get different ones.

On the Tuesday before last, I suddenly developed a nosebleed. And while in my youth I had many nosebleeds and knew how to handle them this one was different because I am now taking xarelto, an anti-coagulant which performs the same function as warfarin. I bought this for my elderly mother who has frequent nosebleeds because of long term Coumadin (blood thinner) use. One time in the emergency room they used a similar product and it worked well so they suggested that I buy this because it is available over the counter without a prescription and it is safe for the elderly and for people on Coumadin. I also checked with her doctor before purchasing.

My mother has used it twice at home and it works well. It does burn when you first apply the powder to your nose but she has had good results both times and she says the burning sensation does not last long and the result is worth the temporary burning. Very easy to use and it comes in individual packets so you can have one with you at all times.

I give it 4 stars because it should always be bought with caution, knowing the individual's own health history but for temporary and fast relief it seems to work well.
